“ Excellent service with authentic Indian cuisine at very fair prices with great parking area. ”
“ I was craving butter chicken and found this little spot. Placing the order was smooth, it would be ready in 15 min. I did have to wait about 5 min when I got there for the food but it was expertly packaged. Service was quick, the staff were friendly. Inside the restaurant was clean, it was very quiet because there were no guests, but they had music playing. The food was a solid 8/10. To start, I ordered samosas which come in an order of 3. They had a slight kick to them but the texture was perfect. The star of the show: the butter chicken was creamy, perfectly seasoned & juicy. The sauce mixed perfectly with the rice, which was yummy. I also ordered garlic naan bread and that was to die for. They have a loyalty program and a lunch special that runs Mon-Fri. I'll definitely be coming back!!! ”
“ Literally just got back from 2 weeks in India and immediately went to dinner here to test the authenticity. They NAILED it. The samosas were wonderful, by partner loved the tandoori wings. Butter chicken with naan was fabulous and my partner got the spicy Chicken Tikka Masala which was *chefs kiss* service was great and it's such a cozy atmosphere. We will be back! Also can't believe how big their Indian beer selection is. Haywards 5000 can't even be found easily in the cities of India! ”
“ I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Urban Rrasoi in Kendall. The menu features all the Indian classics, offering a great variety. We ordered Chana Masala, Chicken Masala, Samosa, and Lamb Korma, and all were better than average. The food quality was surprisingly good, especially given the nondescript location. The restaurant is small but well-furnished, with a cozy yet comfortable atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. I'd definitely return. It's a super convenient spot for those in the area looking for quality Indian food in Kendall. ”
“ Came here a long time ago with someone else during covid and I remember that the food and service was amazing. Now recently came back and they did not dissapoint. We had the lamb and chicken masala. During prime time parking can be a headache because the shopping center is very populated. The ambience is very chill with the Indian music playing in the background. Honestly price to value is amazing as well as you wont leave hungry for around 25 per person. Definitely recommend you will break out of the same ol' food and eat something delicious and dive in to a different cultural experience. ”
“ Chicken Tikka Masala is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece that perfectly blends tradition and taste. The tender, marinated chicken is grilled to perfection, giving it a slightly smoky flavor, which pairs beautifully with the rich and creamy tomato-based sauce. The spices are harmoniously balanced, offering a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate--savory, tangy, and just the right hint of heat. What truly elevates this dish is its versatility. Whether paired with fluffy basmati rice or warm, buttery naan, it becomes an indulgent experience. The sauce is so flavorful that you'll want to savor every drop. It's comfort food at its finest, satisfying and full of character. Chicken Tikka Masala is more than a dish; it's an experience. Whether you're new to Indian cuisine or a seasoned lover of its flavors, this classic dish never fails to impress. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a hearty, flavorful, and soul-warming meal! ”
“ Urban Rasoi's lunch specials are a great way to sample various dishes from the menu. They offer the choice of chicken, lamb, vegetarian ,or seafood with you choice of preparation (tandori, korma, vindaloo etc). The special arrives on a nice compartment platter with several small servings of items. I opt for the chicken korma which came with rice, naan, lentils, chilly chicken, sweet potato fries and Gulab jamun, a fried dough. All of the items tasted fresh. The only item which I didn't eat was the fried dough which was covered in a syrup which was overly sweet for my liking. The service was adequate. My friend who ordered a chai had to request it several times. When it did arrive, she said it tasted (and looked) like instant. The food is definitely worth another visit. ”
“ Well we were lucky, we were the first to arrive on a Sunday for lunch. After we'd ordered the place quickly filled up. Our food came out in a fairly good amount of time. I recently returned from a month in India and wanted to try to chaat - aloo tikka chaat. My friend loved it. It was fine, not as many crunchy elements as in Jaipur's chaats. I ordered the goat curry. Again, it was good, a good sized portion. My husband enjoyed leftovers of both. My friend had the butter mushrooms and enjoyed. Service was ok, no special touches, no interest if all was good. I had to ask for a water refill. Prices are about the same in most Indian restaurants in Miami ”
“ I reviewed this restaurant last year and was super unhappy with the service, but I vowed to come back because the food was amazing. Well, I'm pleased to report the service is top-notch now on Sundays, and folks, if you like Indian food, you're missing out if you haven't been . I can safely promise you it will be your new favorite Indian restaurant, best Indian food ever in Kendall! kudos to the owners for stepping up their Sunday staff. P.S. The only thing that was disappointing was getting my Naan bread 15 minutes after the meal arrived. I understand they had a full house, but by the time I got it I was done eating. Keep the food warm in the back & bring together or Naan first. The two ladies I was with waited and of course their food got cold. ”
